During the first week of university, I was greeted with a simple quote from one of my lecturers. "Draw clearly, keep it simple, make it well". This quote helped form the foundation of the sort of designer I am today.
I really enjoy being creative, whether it's in the kitchen, on canvas or through a lens. Making things is something I especially love doing. I am very hands on with design, from making rough prototypes right through to the finished object. I'm always trying to be bold, pushing myself to grow and learn something new in the process.
I have a generalist approach to design, allowing me to adapt to new problems and come up with unexpected solutions. I believe in designing products that are not conceived solely with functionality in mind, but are constructed using simple, distinct shapes with playful details that tell a story. Our lives are constructed from little moments stacked together, and these moments are often overlooked and taken for granted. I always try to design products that enrich little moments by making them less mundane and more fun.
